Installation & connection of the controller

The FreezeProtector is designed so that the actual installation of the control can also be carried out by a layperson. An electrical or heating specialist may only be required for the initial installation.

Wall mounting

Ideally, you should carry out this assembly step with two people.

Overview of the mounting material

Hold the control in the position in which it is to be attached, using a spirit level if necessary.

Mark the top and bottom drill holes.

Drill 6mm holes for the included dowels, for stone or concrete walls, and insert the dowels.

Thread a screw into each mounting hole by hand.

Place the control with the holder exactly on the screw heads and leave them about 10-15mm off.

Use a screwdriver to hand-tighten the screws.

Be sure to observe the maximum permissible loads on the sockets (see "Connection overview")! Defects caused by improper loading of the sockets are not covered by the device guarantee or warranty!

Connect the pump to the yellow socket

Connect the alarm device to the red socket

Connect the shark rod to the 5-pin jack socket, make sure that the plug clicks into place securely!

Connect the sensor cable to the 4-pin sensor socket, secure the connection hand-tight with the union nut!

Connect the control cable to the power supply
