Setting up the WiFi connection

Full potential from the first moment

When using it for the first time, we recommend connecting the FreezeProtector to your WiFi network. Don't worry: it also works reliably offline. But only with smart networking and intelligent data analysis does it show what it's really capable of - optimal control, individual insights and notifications as well as maximum efficiency included.

And because trust matters: Your data is stored exclusively in Germany, is not sold and remains free from prying eyes - neither Google, Apple nor other tech giants have access to it. Neither do secret services... at least we think so

Establish WiFi connection

If the FreezeProtector does not find a WLAN connection, it automatically switches to AP mode (access point). How to connect:

Find the WiFi with the SSID: freezeprotector
connect to this
please confirm any warning (otherwise configuration is not possible)

Configure WiFi connection

open a browser and go to http://192.168.4.1
If necessary, log in with the username: admin and the password 12345678
confirm any warning that may appear (otherwise configuration is not possible)
enter your local WiFi credentials

After a successful connection to your WLAN, the access point disappears automatically. If the local WLAN fails, the FreezeProtector automatically switches back to AP mode so that you can regain access at any time.
